Infection is really hit or miss… It can be so boring when the two alpha zombies cant infect anybody at all… A lot of rounds i will not even see anyone to kill.
I see a lot of kids who get infected, they will just AFK until they arent zombies anymore. If i see someone AFK as a zombie i will report them for Unsporting Conduct.
They need to make these 3min rounds into 4min rounds in my opinion.
On the Halo channels Twitch broadcast premiering infection, they mentioned how it would be very difficult for there to be a last man standing… But most rounds there are still multiple players standing when i play. And im sure you all experience it as well.
Surely making rounds longer will make the afk problem seem worse?

I agree, won’t help that issue. Although I don’t support that sportsmanship it is understandable, being a basic zombie absolutely sucks. Perhaps they need a buff?

Perhaps 3 alphas?

It’s a hard call to make but I think 2 alphas is sufficient, although the camo is quite silly looking most of the time it can help them sometimes. However the biggest issue I have with 3 alphas is being last man standing with 3 enemies invisible on the radar, that is by far their best perk. I reckon buffing the basic zombie is the way to go, maybe increase damage resistance when body shotted? If we’ve learned anything from zombie media is that they only die fast when hit in the head
I think 3 alphas would be a good move. Not just because it’d make it easier on the infected but also because 12 players with 4 rounds means that 4 players never become an alpha in every game giving them a huge advantage (or disadvantage if they perform better as an infected)
You just have to suck it up and deal with it, almost everyone is gonna be a zombie at least once every round.

Or just stop giving Spartans power weapons and remove the radar too…this is supposed to be infection and it’s way too dumbed down in H5.

I assume you’ll watch the video before you start reporting people…some people are actually bad at the game.
It’s not a matter of balance but rather player ability. To be honest if you just hide in the first 20 seconds some dumb spartan will wander by and you’re off. Most alphas don’t use their partial invis in the right way either. You’re not gonna flat out sneak up on anyone but you’re harder to see or more specifically harder to head shot so if you don’t just approach head on but rather zig zag and use your thrust right you can cause some havoc. And don’t forget the smart link lunge has insane range. It seems like most people rely on the default lunge too much.
When I first played H5 infection it seemed like the zombies were b0n3d, but after some time with it I find ot to be quite balanced.
Infection right now is okay, but am I the only one who misses the true infection, where invulnerable zombie hunts you down while you tremble they may find you. Last man serving was the only to get points, zombie got about 1/3rd every kill. That is the infection I miss…
Also, which do you prefer, afk to fix there internet or them lag quitting making you the true only zombie? And it wasn’t truly there fault because everyone on the match was lag switching and making lag terrible. I’ve had lag switchers every match.

Would be a good idea, and then more rounds i think.

I think 2 Alphas is absolutely fine to be honest, as are the standard zombies. They aren’t meant to be tough on their own, and when people are smart enough to team up and attack en masse you’re going to do absolutely fine. If any change is made I think shorten the radar range on survivors. There was nothing like the fear of seeing one of those giant red dots show up on radar in H3 infection. More often than not if the thing is on radar it’s much too late anyway, but the momentary panic where you still believe you might save yourself is a nice touch!
