What tips have you learned in halo infinite? share and learn. For ex: curb sliding or weopon drop faster than switch
Aim assist is tied to the left (move) thumbstick and not the right. When you jump you are basically no longer using your left thumbstick therefore breaking aim assist. In short don’t jump just strafe.
Not so much advanced tips. More for Platinum into Diamond (yay, go me).
Set your sticks up properly. Helped a lot with strafing and aiming. AboveAverageCody has done some nice youtube vids in the last few weeks. Essentially make left/move as responsive as possible (fast strafe) and right/look smoother (better aim).
Work on moving aggressively around the map (pushing hard to the spot you want to get to). But be conservative in your engagments. Make sure you have the high ground / numbers / better weapons.
Shoot and 'nade more. It’s something I don’t do very well (hence my high accuracy). But every shot you get in slows the enemy down (they can’t engage), alerts team mates where they are, and makes them easier to kill. I’m trying to get the hang of just firing shots at doorways etc when you think someone is there.
Get better at the power weapons. Sniper. Bulldog. Cindershot. Rockets. You need to get value for money while your team has these. If I had a dollar for everytime I get rockets and then die getting off the first shot (handing the second one over to the enemy).
And focus on not dying while playing the objective. Again something I am not good at. Knowing when to drop the oddball and engage. When to push with the flag. When to step in and then out of the Hill. The key is to die less - and if you are going to die (eg. because you were holding the ball) then you need to inflict as much damage back as you can to give your team mates more time and easier kills to get it back.
Not really advance tip for high elo, but more like advance tip to using unrated weapons: Plasma Pistol
If you not risking gun fights, a plasma pistol is good for peaking around corners and Noob combing if you are defending an area. Sure it doesn’t have the tracking like previous, but the plasma pistol did everything for you in the past. If you know the enemy pathing, you are able to hit more shots than you think… just don’t use it long range.
