I have gained REQ packs from the digital LE, halo experience, chief controller, and a couple others I might be forgetting but tonight I bought the Halo: Last Light novel and entered its code in my xbox and instead of making a new add-on in my games and apps it started updating a previous one and it got stuck at 72%. It won’t go any further and I can’t pause the installation. Is there anything I can do to fix this issue?

Haha I wish, I get on here and see all kinds of people saying they have like over 20
I got one stuck at 72% as well! I’m reinstalling guardians now because my file size was wrong so I’m hoping that fixes my req pack as well.

Hopefully, best of luck to you I won’t have time to reinstall the whole game before it launches because the internet is terrible here haha. I’m going to be taking my box to a friends house for launch night for better internet.

I hope not I’ll have to look into that, my file is at 54.8 GB though and I seem to recall them saying that if your file size is over 46 GB you have the right file.
If it helps, I ran into the same problem when I was actually downloading my digital copy. If your copy of H5 is already downloaded, select it, hit the start button and go to “Manage Game” there should be a slot for Add-Ons, if the download failed then it should be in there to redownload!
I have three of them that wont finish installing one. Is even at one hundred percent.
I’m in the same boat, two REQ packs that stop at a certain % and never finish installing. The first time I was able to uninstall both and then attempt to reinstall, they got further along this time but still not to 100%. Problem then became they would not uninstall (there was no option, only pause) so I had to uninstall everything including Halo 5. I tried installing the packs individually but neither one goes past 90%. This is not good.
I ran into an issue where my REQ packs that I got included with my digital package weren’t in the store on launch day - booted up last night and they were ready for opening. Sometimes patience is a virtue, especially on launch days!
Can you uninstall it and try re-downloading it
Try unplugging the power cord from the back of your console, wait about 30 seconds, and plug back in. Ive had this problem with numerous games and doing this has always worked.

Thanks for the tip, it did the trick, although it looks like the REQ packs were able to be opened even though they had not fully downloaded the first time. Now that the two that were stuck completed, it still shows no unopened REQ packs. Weird.
