Southpaw should not be a controller layout option. Instead it should be a universal option. Much like the option to toggle/hold the crouch mechanic. The southpaw option would give you the ability to swap the shoulder buttons (LB, RB, LT, RT) as well as the joystick (right-stick/left-stick) on whichever controller layout you are most comfortable using. So essentially there would be two southpaw options. One for your joysticks as well as one for your shoulder buttons.
