Can we please get the advanced feature of patrolling? It could be a simple add on like the new “hold position feature”
Instead of holding position where you click, the units would patrol between where they are now and where you click on the map.
This would be great for terminus firefight in order to get your AA to march around the terminus defending it! I’m sure it would have many other valuable uses as well!
you can sort of do this with the multiple actions command. tell your wolves to go to 4 different points in a circle around the terminus over and over, and they’ll basically patrol it until they run out of commands. not super useful though cause you have to reorder them to do it again when they stop.
HW2 unit control is ultimately held back by being an RTS on a console. The amount of things I wish I could tell my units to do that would be common place on a PC RTS is infuriating.

Command and Conquer 3 managed it on the console. I’m sure Halo could if they wanted to.

I agree here. Halo wars has already introduced some advanced command features, and if they could do the hold position/attack move commands, then patrolling shouldn’t be that hard to implement.

Yeah, Kane’s Wrath and Red Alert 3 was great. They are probably the best port from pc to console for any game in terms of controls.

C&C3 is in my top ten. Even more so since I got the PC version.

Going from xbox to pc rts has really messed me up. I can’t make heads or tails of advanced commands, and I can’t be bothered to memorize them, either.
