ADS stays when shot?? Go back to how it was!!

Why did they do this? What happened to losing ADS when you get hit? It makes gunfights way to easy.

It used to be when you get shot while ADS’ing that you would revert back to hip firing. Now you can stay ADS’ing while getting hit. This makes it way to easy for people to just spam. Having to fight to keep your aim up was a big reason better players won.

What do you guys think? Do you like how it is now or miss the way it used to be and want it back??

According to the info available on Specialisations this should only happen if you have unlocked the appropriate perk. If it happens normally (not really noticed) then that is seemingly a wasted specialisation.

flinch is terrible and needs to go, old system was better

I just noticed that in every kill cam that they never lose their ADS so I guess is everyone using the Rogue Specialization stock and just not noticing?

edit: Apparently Rogue isn’t supposed to even be available yet. Only wetworks and pioneer are available. So I guess this is some kind of error that needs to be fixed.

Yes sorry, I meant to imply that seemingly the Spec is wrong/faulty, not that you were lying or anything like that! I’ll have to get on in a minute and see what happens. It’s one of those things that’s just subconscious, I couln’t say for sure at the moment what happens.

I prefer the new system honestly. Spamming doesn’t really help if you’re the one getting hit.

I don’t. I missed the way it used to be. Being able to stay ADS during gunfights makes them way to easy. Fighting to stay scoped in was what made better players…better.

you guys realize the specialization allows you to not flinch as much. it has nothing to do with zooming out when getting shot. the reason they added flinch was to balance you being able to say zoomed in.

Well from my experience. It doesn’t really work. I can still out DMR/BR a guy while scoped in. It actually makes it easier for me.

I don’t understand this change at all. Honestly the old system was perfect. Flinch is a mechanic that just doesn’t belong in arena shooters.

This is what I read as well. Is there another “better” source to show that it only is supposed to effect “flinch” and not ADS?

PLEASE go back to the old system.

The new system isn’t bad, but the old one was better.

I preferred the way it was in previous games. The flinch system isn’t that effective and makes it too easy to snipe others who are shooting at you, but too difficult to counter & suppress a sniper unless you also have a sniper or the other person isn’t good at sniping.

I am not sure why either. I loved the way it was. Specially to counter snipers. I get killed by snipers too easily since they can stay on target far easier without having to worry about leaving the scope when shot. Flinch isn’t enough to deter snipers.

The wiki is wrong because it doesn’t reflect what happens in gameplay. Since you can always stay zoomed it, we know the specialization has nothing to do with that, this leads it to having to do with not flinching. Also here is the source from IGN, which I find to be more trust worthy.
