Okay so maybe the new ADS is simply about the cosmetic changes. All the same, I think it is safe to say that most of the fan base want the “legacy” scope appearance back. Like it was in Halo 2, 3, Reach. Anyhow, I think it would be a good idea to get a poll on smart scope so we can reach some conclusion.
Please like the corresponding post (there are 3 opinions to choose from) as per what you’d like to see in the game.

Bring the legacy appearance of the scope back, just like in older Halo games. And please don’t change any zoom mechanics. It was one of the things that made Halo unique.

As someone who has played all the games A LOT and someone who has played the H5 Beta…I’m all for the current changes. It is mostly a cosmetic change and offers a slightly larger FOV while scoped.
Am I fan of the older style BR sight? Yes.
Do I hate the new one? No.

Yeah more specifically on scoped weapons, pistol and BR.
So you’d want it as an option (#3) or rather have it completely taking over (#2)…?

The current way it’s implemented in that game, is essential for the overall gameplay. To remove it, would break the design. You would have to remove or tweak a number of other things as well.
The way it sits, the game works…and works well. It’s a lot more fun than you may realize.
