So everyone noticed already that the Adrift shown in E3’s build was much darker. I think this is a secret showoff of one of Forge’s new features, which is lighting manipulation. Or at least, switching from night to day. Anyone agree?
If so, what else do you think this would implicate? What other lighting effects could be possible if this is correct?
I think it’s just a more polished build of the map, nothing more.
However, having day/night/morning/etc. as Forge Effects would be an excellent idea!

i agree, i don’t want to shut the OP idea down because i really hope you are right. but i don’t see this as something to be read into too deeply, or as having any real implications at all
I’ll say it again. Midnight Infinity Slayer. What does that even mean?
Some help on searching for this would be great. Can’t find it with a quick google, but I believe it was on IGN or even a Bulletin somewhere.

So an Infinity Slayer playlist where are the maps are set at midnight? That’d be pretty fun. But how did 343i set the maps at that lighting? I think it would be simpler just to switch the settings around in Forge rather than to make multiple maps.

My best guess would be that it was a playlist designed special for the E3 demo’s. Like how in infection we get a certain playlist for a certain map, like naming the two the same thing in the intention that they be played together.
ex.
Map X - to be played with playlist X
Playlist Y- to be played on Map Y
I don’t know, its all speculation.
That would be so cool if that were true.
