Does anyone else hate the standoff-ish gameplay where both teams have 3 guys on their flag and it ends up being 0-0?
Not really, I can take 3 men solo if they are close together. A grenade or three, and some well placed HS and that flag is mine.
Well sometimes I can. 
Used to have problems on that map but the way to play it is to go full on offence. Because when you die you respawn on defence.
Honestly theres nothing I can do when 3 guys are at my base and I’m all alone trying to get the flag trying to fight two camo guys and a dude crouching with a boltshot
Spawns are terrible in Adrift CTF… you can completely free the enemy base just to see them respawn there all togheter in a matter of seconds.
MLG Adrift has improved spawns, but the MM one is barely playable with CTF.
