Please 343i. If you bestow upon players the ability to see each other as game lobbies are formed - complete with Service Records, File Shares and customized Spartan player models before games start - you will keep players obsessed with this game.
You have to let players in matchmaking see each others players models in the lobby with hot links to their career and media. Their creations. Their accomplishments/stats. Their names and emblems. Knowing who you’re up against and being able to easily add a person or mute their open mic has always been a glorious convenience in Halo and has kept people social in game. Being able to sit in lobby for 15 seconds with the map and gametype on screen as it loads, while perusing player profiles, is the greatest way to spend time anticipating a game of Halo and get hyped chilling with others.
The current UI is not setup to allow this and our current friend list / social access is limited.
I want this to be the best Halo game we can play and I hope it doesn’t lack features previous titles had.
Part me wonders if the reason we don’t have this any more is because the game loads in a lot quicker now once all the players have been found.

That makes sense but perhaps we can see players complete with their careers and spartans as soon as they connect to a lobby? That would allow it to happen and then in-between matchmaking, or after if people stay together, well… we get to browse.
I vote no to this because I fear it will make the matchmaking/loading time longer. (About showing all player models and loading in all creations).
But please show match k/d and season CSR after match in the post-game scoreboard.
Also I’d like the ability to mute players or see gamercard/add friend.
I like that idea but maybe if 343i made it easier way to see the Service Records, File Shares and customized Spartan player Models after the game starts. That way it doesn’t make the matchingmaking/loading time longer. I felt like the scoreboard UI and seeing playercards was pretty bugging during the flight.

god i need this, only because i miss when in siege comp kiddies would pull up my stats and see i never played ranked, and then i get to see them quit right before they lost because they couldnt handle losing to a “non-ranked”. with infinite going hyper competitive i imagine it would happen alot.

the beta/flight UI performance and the post-launch UI lacking critical elements because 343i can’t program assets effectively enough without bugging their game (with their billions strong studio) is an excuse I won’t accept. if they want to have a pre and/or post game UI with little to no interaction and not even the ability to browse other players Spartans and Service Records because it affects matchmaking times then I’d ask them to at least explain how or why it’s impossible for them to implement. if this multiplayer is to be supported for years to come and the title “Infinite” is meant to last then I would expect these features to come into fruition at some point
