First of all, I would like to say…Please bring back the Armor Lockdown system that we had during halo reach!!! I thought it was fantastic to use not only in multiplayer but in the campaign too.
I think the Warzone Firefight is brilliant and I’ve been waiting for this for ages. I would alter a few things however as a seasoned firefight player through ODST, Reach etc…I find it extremely impossible at times. I’ve literally just played one now on ‘‘Raid on Apex 7’’. We’d got through to the third round and the objective was to destroy 4 bosses which were hunters. Now these are challenging enough but we had knights constantly respawning and practically destroying every ghost that approached and to top it off there was about 3 Banchees, every time I’d respawn I’d get shot down by one of them. I’m all up for challenges, and intensive matches which are great about halo but that seemed quite impossible, besides on round three you’re not going to have higher requisitions with only 8 players as well so of course, we lost the round.
I’m not suggesting tone it down a little, but perhaps make fewer targets so we can have a fighting chance of destroying the objective.
Also regarding firefight, I would love to see a mode where you can play individually against the AI rather having to play with others online like it was in Reach.
Thanks
Guy Huston
armor lock needs to be burned until its nothing but ash!
I think the same about firefight. I was on a match in “SKIRMISH AT DARKSTAR” and when we reached round 2 the targets were 4 phaetons!!! We only had magnums!!

I think for Halo Reach it worked really well, though the shield system they had in halo 4 was a pile of -Yoink!-

it was a horrible system it seriously stopped the game and gun fights. armor lock was a horrible idea along with armor ability’s. armor lock and the jet pack where the worst they would brake game play or ruin map flow… armor ability are bad but those two are the worst of all

Depends how you used the armour lock system, I found it gave me an advantage for example when I was stuck with a grenade or about to be splattered. The application of it in those scenarios was useful. I was referring to close quarters combat, obviously from a distance in an open space it renders no use so the logic speaks for itself really.

no its not good … it takes you out of the games for like 5 10 seconds thats not good for game play …any fight you are in anything that you are doing during the game armor lock lets you take your self out of for a bit … no matter how useful you say it is it does not make it good for game play

I will still argue that it was a legitimate strategy during a match, I don’t really see the issue in ‘‘Being taken out of the gameplay’’, it gave good perspective enabling you to pan the camera 360 degrees so you could see where the enemies were to see what was around you quickly. Survival of grenade throws and it discharged an emp once released which was useful in meleeing enemies down in close proximity. Being invulnerable for approximately 10 seconds meant a greater chance of survival, which meant a greater chance for then engaging your enemy, especially if their shields were down due to your armour lockdown.

Agreed
