Adjusting Skull Scores

Regarding skulls, the following could all use adjusted scores.

  • Ghost,
  • Malfunction,
  • Envy,
  • and Bonded Pair.

The former two make the game harder, and would benefit from being added to the list of scoring skulls. However, without throwing out the balance of scores, they should be given a smaller modifier, such as a 1.05 or 1.01.

The latter two make the game easier, but it’s not as significantly as Bandana or Scarab. As an alternative, they should be given a 0.25 modifier. Consequently, this should also make these skulls viable for challenges and achievements, but a poor decision when it comes to options like par scores.

Being able to have more progression options with these four skulls would make a huge difference and they’d be used more frequently. I’ve often wanted to turn on Bonded Pair but changed my mind because I wanted my progress to still count.
