Adjust playlists to have only heroic requried

Halo 3 becomes free oct 16, meaning new players will get their hands on the game, but won’t have access to playlists because of dlc restrictions.

I ask 343 to adjust playlists so that only the free dlc maps are required, that way everyone can be happy, since old players will have a bunch of people to play with and new ones won’t be restricted to a few playlists.

Frank Oconner said that there is going to be a playlist consolidation after halo 4 he said. That means they are going to remove the most inactive game types just like they did with reach. They also fixed the population counter in reach and added 3 new playlists. So that seems like the best we will get

I’d rather be able to play the maps I paid for thanks.

Maybe make the ones that are dead e.g. SWAT and Snipers heroic required but keep BTB all maps required.

It was stated in the bulletin that the playlists cannot be altered.

Or… make the DLC free? That would be nice, unlikely, but nice. It’s been 6 YEARS after all.
