Address a known issue please?

Still sitting on an open ticket, and I’m not alone. Cannot pickup weapons or interact with objects. Known issue database points to a manual download of an update (Which doesn’t work with 7th or later) or an update to windows 10. Windows made a decision to try to force updates on intel 7th gen or later, and their service stack updates don’t work on systems that have a 7th gen running. Seems kind of lame to just leave the only bugfix as “Update to windows 10” when your product worked perfectly fine until Halo CE was added. No other product has issues running. Check my achievements, made it through reach sitting around during christmas. No bugs. There is no way for me to roll back to an earlier update, can you please fix this known issue rather than just leaving the product broken?

Hey OP, can you all please check that your version of Windows is fully up to date? If it’s not (which I suspect it isn’t) make sure you update and restart. Each time you restart, make sure and double check Windows update again to make sure you’re on the latest version. After that the issue should be resolved.

If you are confident you’re up to date, followed the instructions above and still have the issue, following up on the support ticket is the best course of action from here.

Yep. It’s as updated as can be, and the ticket has been ignored for longer than a week. whatever bit of windows code they relied on, it breaks it for anyone who’s running i7 or later, but hasn’t updated to a janky phone OS (win 10). I don’t want an app market and anti consumer garbage, or I’d be a Mac user or something equally as masochistic. I’m going to ride windows 7 into its grave and then probably dual boot for things that absolutely require win10… but the longer I can keep that off my system the better.

So. TLDR: Waypoint support has stopped supporting. All manual workarounds on my part are exhausted. The only solutions left are basically people on the Halo end of this actually examining why Reach was compatible with i7 win7, but CE anniversary isn’t.

So this is just general staff policy. Link to FAQ. Link to incompatible update. Maintain radio silence.
