As the Heatwave has an alternate fire/functionality in terms of crosshair switch. It would be nice if the Gravity Hammer can be thrown like a spear acting as an AOE displacement(like a grenade/hammer swing) on impact. It wouldn’t be practical but a fun feature that can add to the functionality and depth.
It would work like the Spectre’s Shadow Blade in Black Ops 4.

I think the cross hair switch would be cool if you can do a vertical line of damage instead of a curved one.
Man the gravity hammer was such a beast. Could kill a enemy like 10 feet away. So insane.
