I can’t wait for anniversary. I just played a 2v2 blood gulch ctf at a mates on halo CE and I remember the good old days. It was awesome, and I hope 343 can capture that awesomeness. In an attempt to help out with that. I am making a list of additional “hidden” options like the ones added in the TU.
Green triangles over teammates heads. Must look really classic, preferably a straight copy from CE.
The weapons vibrations (weapons had a very distinct feel when the controller shook) and sound effects could be swapped with anniversary files. Possibly even have model swapping. I’m assuming that 343 can already set the ammo per clip and damage.
Jumping, vehicle physics, and other physics based modifications to make for a more retro feel.
Possible changes to some of the vehicles to allow for the old, classic way of eliminating one. Shotting the tank usually damaged the occupant, but sniping the tank did not unless you hit the occupant. And two shots for sniping when in a vehicle as opposed to the one shot.
Suggest more.
Just thought of a new one. If possible find a way to shrink Hemmorage as it is way too big. Or even a straight cipy of blood gulch with no retouching or anything would be awesome.
I miss how people would actually team together and do the objectives, I really hope we’ll get the old school community from Halo: CE on the multiplayer and do it like the old days.
Yeah, I used to have a group of eight or so guys at the school. I’m hoping it can be like that.
Problem is, you won’t get CE MP, except for campaign co-op with one other guy.

I doubt it. 343 is trying to appeal to the Reach fanbase.

The Reach Multiplayer list consists of annoying kids that -Yoink!-, use profanity to the extreme and betray if you steal a kill, capture their flag or something a long the lines of that. Oh gosh, I cannot wait(!)

Exactly. They should appeal to Halo 3 sportmanship instead, although I’d like it the most if they would have given it proper CE MP.
