So my idea is to have skins on ar, br, magnum, dmr, and smg themed to be like other games which might boost popularity of halo and those games. Ideas are fallout, minecraft(for the kids i guess), definitely not call of duty cause it sucks, battlefield 1, lego or megablocks. I can’t think of anymore off the top of my head and i know there is stuff like copyright stuff the skins wil have to go through but it will kind of be like a crossover i guess. Let me know of other popular and cool games for ideas too.
I don’t see making weapon skins themed from other games helping. I’ll rather have them let us create our own weapon skins via a skin editor including customising our armour skins.

I just love how every Halo player says this, they have no good reason but “Cause it sucks”, you can’t hate a game from what people said, its called giving games a go “then” giving it a reason why it sucks or its good

Honestly there’d be too many 12 year olds with -Yoink- skins thinking it’s funny if 343i added a skin editor, but it’s a cool idea.

Aaaand suddenly I can’t take you seriously anymore.
Killer Instinct has added The Arbiter to its game. He is excellently done. Maybe the best stage and theme song in the game, and if you haven’t played him in KI yet I strongly recommend you do. There is a rumor that they will add a Halo Brute to the game as well as Marcus Phoenix from Gears of War (the villain Raam is already in it). With that being said I’d love it if some KI love was shown within Halo 5. Ultra Tech is the evil mega-corp in the game and I’d love to see some Ultra Tech skins. Its been a dream of mine to get the KI announcer in a Halo voice pack and to get the Halo announcer as one of the options for KI (they have 2 different announcers to choose from). Plus while we’re at it I’d like to see a Jago armor set in the same style as H3’s Hayabusa armor.

Well if anyone is gonna insert inappropriate into their skins, there should be system where it detects & verifies any of that -yoink- happens and the community can also play a part into it. Similar to how the Forza franchise does to its player made customisations.
It wont happen,as it would cost too much to obtain the copyright,even it is a cool idea.
Unfortunately, the multiplayer is canon. So pizza and cat skins are alright, but I doubt themes from other games would make the cut as skins (even though I’d love a Fallout skin).

Even though multiplayer is canon that shouldnt stop things like that entering the game. There are 343 and HCS weapon skins so it wouldnt matter much…

The setting for multiplayer is canon, but that doesn’t mean what happens in the multiplayer is canon, like how me teabagging every Elite I kill in the campaign isn’t canon, either.
I would like a skin template where you can choose the colors on it .
I want my guns to have a shiny chrome or jet black finish. Fireteam Osiris is pretty damn close for now, but it’s not quite enough.
