So by now you should all have heard about all the complaining about no infection. Well do you think with all the people complaining they won’t add it in? Pretty much they have to add it in for the sake of halo 5 if they don’t halo 5 would lose so many players which means less halo 5 sales and req sales. We should be seeing infection is this update or the next.
Already confirmed it won’t be here in the January update.

I thought it would be a given that it would be added in an update but I am beginning to wonder. If the January update is the benchmark in content for all the subsequent updates, we may never get all the game modes we want. I have a hard time believing at this point that we would get a bunch of game modes in one update and we have only 5 more “free” updates left after the January one. So with Grifball already taking up one update, we would need updates for Infection, Oddball, King of the Hill, Race, Juggernaut, Head Hunter, Regicide, Extraction, Dominion, Assault (maybe with Grifball), etc. So assuming we get one game mode an update from here on out (big assumption) we are going to be missing several important modes by the end of the “free” DLC run.
Honestly, I’m surprised they’ve gone this long without including Infection with how loud the community has complained. I keep thinking “343 can’t be that dense, they’ll include it in the next update”, yet they keep failing to meet my already low bar of expectations.
I sometime think that Halo 5 is literally 343I trying to see how far they can push people and what they can get away with.
I’m hoping the February update will have it.
