I had an idea while i was playing a game of firefight on installation 04 and i looked at the ODST’s and noticed they have a stripe and the UNSC logo on their chest so i thought why can’t we have that. Similar to the armor detail from Halo 3 i think you should be able to add a symbol, stripe or decal to your armor and then choose its color, this would help to make your spartan even more unique.
Would you like this feature or not is the main question?

I have a feeling we will be able to do something along those lines in Halo 4. Especially when you look at the Spartan IV models. They have all those crazy stripes all over them.

yeah of course so only like stripes, the unsc logo, the odst logo, etc.
I would also think it would be cool if you could have certain patterns scratched into the EVA helmet like Emile’s so maybe a smiley face :), and i’d love to be able to make Dutch’s helmet from ODST.

You know, I never really thought about it but yeah, I would.
I would like for the emblem to be larger and on the shoulder like in H3. I also hope there is a way to get the detail stripe from H3. A cool variant of that would be the double detail stripes on both arms like MC had in The Package. But I really think we shouldn’t get too crazy with the customization, and the emblem on the center of the torso I think should be kept to ODSTs. It’s their thing.
Spartan IV’s look awesome! And i love customization. I hope we get to customize from the ground up on my Spartan
so a bit like forza’s decal system
oh and the scrathing system that somebody above suggested that would be most pleasing
