Does anyone remember Brute Force? It was a sci-fi third-person shooter released by Microsoft & Digital Anvil all the way back in 2003. It was supposed to be the next killer app for the original Xbox but sadly, despite being fun to play, it fell to the wayside and was all but forgotten. Obviously it’s not getting a sequel anytime so I figured why not add all of its assets to the Halo series? By assets I mean its weapons, enemies, world maps, characters, and the few vehicles it had.
Imagine it: using the Confed LZR, Feral Cutter, the Bioreactive, Roller Grenades, or any of the other weapons while battling Ferals, Seers, the Red Hand, Mutants, Shrikes, & their respective bosses (as well as your fellow Spartans) in Halo 5’s War Games! Or playing as those same bosses as well as the Brute Force heroes as new Leaders in Halo Wars 2! All while playing on multiplayer maps set on Estuary, Ferix, Caspian, Osiris, and the asteroid LB-429! It would also have the benefit of adding new alien races (Ferals, Seers, & Shrikes) which I feel the Halo Universe needs since it hasn’t shown any new ones since the Yonhet. Plus, since Microsoft owns the Brute Force property, they wouldn’t have to worry about any licensing issues.
Now I know what you’re thinking: “but Jason, the Brute Force game is in a separate universe from Halo!” I am aware of that but I’m not talking about making the game canon with Halo, just adding its various assets to the Halo series to add some more variety. While it is a long shot that this will ever happen, I still feel that it’s an idea worth bringing up. So what’s your opinion on this matter fellow Spartans? I look forward to what you have to say.
Not really.
Not only is this game less-known,it also doesnt sound like it could fit into Halo.
People actually -yoinking- hate Brute Force??? I loved that game to death!!! Although it is an interesting concept that I want to see in a side Halo game or something, I don’t know how well it would perform… P.S…I will donate my organs to get that game again!!!
" so I figured why not add all of its assets to the Halo series? By assets I mean its weapons, enemies, world maps, characters, and the few vehicles it had." essentially you’re wanting to move a game into another already existing one. It won’t happen nor should it. They’re different styles and most of it wouldn’t fit or make any sense with halo. Furthermore halo can add more “variety” (as if it’s weapons and such weren’t already over redundant and bloated up enough) using its own universe rather than things from other games.

I’m not talking about moving the whole game over to Halo (I even specified as much). I’m just referring to the elements that would work most in the Halo series (including some of its soundtrack which I almost forgot to mention). Also their styles are quite similar; you need only look at their targeting reticles & radars among other things to know that it’s true (seriously, the reticle for Brute Force’s MK-ASLT is the same exact one used for Halo’s MA5B). The fact is I thoroughly enjoyed that game and would simply like to see it make a comeback via Halo in one shape or form.

The roller grenades would be a nice addition
