In Halo Reach it seemed as if the significance of using emblems had decreased as they were alot smaller as well as only visible on a certain amount of armour. In Halo 4 I think we(the players) should be given the opportunity to decide where to place our emblems e.g. shoulder, chest etc…, but ofcourse have some limitations on that to prevent any abusive areas.
However, not all players may not want to have their emblem portayed on their SPARTAN’s armour, but instead have their rank displayed or even Blood Type (like Halo 3: ODST).
To summarise this, I’m presenting two ideas;
- Have the ability to choose where we have our emblem on the armour
- Toggle between Bloodtype, rank or emblem to be visible on the armour
to be able to choose where you want your emblem would be a cool feature
say you would have the possibilities:
- left shoulder
- right shoulder
- chest right
- chest left
- back
- helmet left
- helmet right
etc.
It would be cool if you could make your own emblems, but some people would make abusive images.
This idea is awesome though
Personally I like having an emblem but not displaying it. Instead of going the roundabout way of removing an emblem from your multiplayer avatar, I think you should simply be able to choose if it is visible on armour or not.

Well yeah, but those who did would get reported and have complaints filed at them.
Nice i would like this very much.
Maybe you can even change the sizes to make it bigger or smaller.
Emblem: It would be cool if we could pick what location it would be at. And having the option to change its size.
Locations:
-Left Shoulder.
-Right shoulder.
-Chest.
(Left side.)
(Right side.)
(Middle area.)
-Back.
(Top. Like the Elites back emblem location in Halo 3.)
(Middle back.)
(Lower back.)
You start out with the default location.
-Chest.
Then after every 10th rank. You unlock a new location for it.
-Left Shoulder.
-Right Shoulder.
-Back.
Also your not limited to only one location. You can have your emblem on all 4 locations.
Size:
Lets say I want it on my back. I get a zoomed view on my back. You see the the emblem in the center of the area you want it at. Then you use the triggers to size it.
Left Trigger: Decrease.
Right Trigger: Increase.
Both Triggers: Back to default size.
Good idea. I’d like mine in two places, actually, my left breast and my right/left shoulder.
