Adding an "Undo" option to Forge?

Hey there, fellow forgers. Have you ever had on of those moments where you built this amazing creation in Forge, group it all together, only to accidentally make a mistake and delete the ENTIRE THING? So, that got me to start thinking about 343 adding an “Undo” option to forge. It would (obviously) undo the last thing you did. This could save forgers a lot of trouble and time if something like this was implemented.

How did you delete the entire thing in the first place? The delete all has its nice little spot in the map menu.

I do agree about an undo button though.

I was surprised that there wasn’t an undo function. Seems weird, and annoying when you make a mistake.

I end up deleting stuff when I want to duplicate it and that’s the point I want an undo button.

Been asking since Halo 3. I really don’t get why that hasn’t been a thing. I remember back in Reach, I’d move a block and -Yoink- up the whole map.

Oh god please. Please. It is such a simple, majestic, feature. So helpful, there is no reason it shouldn’t be in it

Well… accidents happen.

You know what would help?

Not having the delete button right by the duplicate and player mode button.

Simple? In concept yes, Execution? Not so much. Programming an undo function in something as complicated as Forge is likely a nightmare. No seriously, the code behind a simple undo is far more complex than you may realise. Most take it for granted.

Majestic? Absolutely! As hard as it could be to implement, I’d be so happy to have it!
