Maybe I didn’t find any in Halo 4 but the game seemed to lack in mystery that alot of other halo games had. Everything seemed pretty straight forward. The only part in the game that was left to our own imagination is the Spartan Ops mission where you find the nukes without their warheads. That struck a bit of fear in me, wondering if if someone in the UNSC was working with the Covenant aboard the Infinity.
How else could the Covenant get these nukes. If I recall correctly Roland said there were from the Infinity stock pile.
Halo is a universe surrounded by mystery and it looks like Halo 5 will by stepping back at that pace from the trailer and the concept art of the new world. (Which i agree with that its Sangheilios) Which i’m sure is a world filled with great secrets and i think 343i would miss out if they didn’t add in those little treasures everywhere on a world that has more history than Earth.
Maybe like little notes speaking of the formation of Covenant and how the elites and prophets fought in their war. How they lived before they formed into the Covenant and how they live now.
It would be great if we got a little bit of time to look around while at a Sangheili settlement or a destroyed Keep from the civil war.
P.S. Skull hunting was pretty fun, i would love it if 343i were to return that back in Halo 5. Even in Halo Wars it was still a bit fun, gathering skulls like Dragon Balls.
