After seeing such things as the Halo 2 BR and the Halo 1 Pistol being added to the game, I thought that it would be really awesome to have the Halo 1 MA5B variant Assualt Rifle added to the game as well. I mean 60 rounds of up in your face distruction with its 15rounds/sec fire rate. The later assault rifles just dont feel as beefy compared with the MA5B.

But less accurate.
As others have said, it would essentially be a skin for the SMG. But even then, the MA5B is less accurate, does less DPS, and even has a lower RPM then the SMG.
So it would be a waste of time to even implement.

the extended mag assault rifle is close, but I do miss that CE sound
It’s probably my most desired weapon to be added via DLC. As long as 343 doesn’t forget it has armor piercing rounds…
I rather have the MA73.
As much as I would enjoy this, there are better weapons in my opinion that we should get first. Grenade launcher, a proper Splaser…

While I like this idea, I wish 343 would add some new things to the weapon list, maybe something we’ve never seen before

check the single use weapon req’s the CE pistol has already been added
I was just saying this yesterday haha I’d love to have that AR. Was the OG AR. The 32 round AR I never liked that much tbh. I’d also love to see the pro pipe, the needle rifle, the plasma repeater, the plasma rifle, that red sword from h2A, the halo 2 pistol (trigger finger) the halo 2 shotgun (hella rounds) and the flame grenades from halo 3 and also the silenced SMG again
They could add it as an SMG skin, or if it was added as an AR then it could keep its damage and fire rate but have insane reticle bloom. Wouldn’t mind having the classic SMG return too
Could totally work as a single use req. I’d be super giddy to use it in H5

If they do I hope they give it reticle bloom, good graphics cough CE magnum cough, and actually call it the MA5B AR rather than the Halo Combat Evolved AR. I also wish they named the CE pistol the M6D Magnum and the Halo 2 BR the BR55-SV BR.
