Team Doubles has always been a staple for all of the Halo titles and it needs to be a permanent playlist. Team Snipers is also a favorite for a lot of people and would be nice to add this playlist as well. People will play these playlists and love it. If it’s not added, I think people will get tired of the repetitive options we have at this point.
Why not just have weapon-specific variants. In Doubles, that would be more balanced anyway with less lopsided scores and faster gameplay. Like Snipers in Doubles would be cool, and there are other possibilities for weapon variants. I know it’s something Customs and LAN parties have done for the longest time, and it’s surprising the Halo Devs have not caught on to that in 10+ years of Matchmaking. Could also put Snipers into Team Slayer, as well as weapon-specific gametypes. It just changes it up and makes it more relaxed also.
The core game types should have been included at launch. These two being part of those core game types.
I’m not sure why they refuse to implement these core playlists in to the game. Doubles has been around for a very long time and it has been widely accepted by almost all players. I understand their desire of not wanting to split population but you can’t just eliminate Team Doubles and Team Snipers.

Indeed. But people will proclaim 343i genius when they release them in the community update of July 2017. That’s where we are.

snipers … I don’t know, I wasn’t so good on other halos at using the snipe but I’m surprising good at it on H5 so If I am then hate to think how good genuin snipers are haha

Yes but that’s the great thing about adding playlists. Nobody is forcing anyone to play. Just giving the mass an option to play other playlists. And I guarantee the population will be all over doubles and snipers and there will also be plenty of people still playing all of the other playlists. I doubt adding team snipes and doubles will cause us not to find matches in other playlists.
The thing is that they have both of these playlists ready to go, they were both ranked weekend playlists awhile back, all the work is already done they just refuse to put them in as permanent or even acknowledge that its a problem.

the thing that really pisses me off about doubles and snipers is we’ve already had them available! we know that 343 can provide them, but CHOOSES to just tease us with them. who the heck likes weekend playlists? even the holiday doubles that was only for like 2 weeks. that is outrageous.
if playlists have to be temporary they should last at LEAST the whole season. when they are removed the should be replaced with other playlist.
the better solution is to make them permanent. we know that 343 could EASILY add snipers and doubles to the rotation. damn you 343 give us some variety, i don’t want to wait until the end of the month for more playlists when you could give us more right now. end this weekend bullcrap and give us something we can actually play week in and week out!!!
