This won’t be the last time I post about this idea. I’ve been playing on MnK the past couple of days and its become painfully obvious to me that with BR starts, the game heavily favours controller. I doubt 343 will do anything drastic, such as reduce AA, to rectify this in the near future, so I propose that 343 add the sidekick as a secondary weapon to arenas.
Tracking will always be easier on console where enough AA exists, and the BR has the strongest AA in the game. The sidekick, while lower in effective range and mag size, gives PC players a weapon which requires less tracking, allowing them to compete with aim assisted aim.
This is not an elegant solution, but it ought to be decent enough to bring the two inputs closer in strength and one that is quick and easy to implement.
