The extreme lag during Halo 5 multiplayer gameplay has reached a new high over the last few months.
On a Centurylink fiber connection in the midwest, the average ping is around 270ms.

The exceptional lag has made the Multiplayer game play extremely one sided. Close games are very rare to non existent. Only way around it, is to play from 1-5am
Until some new servers can be added, how about changing the max ping range to 150ms tops for matching players?

Should we hold a bake sale for poor cash strapped microsoft/343, so they can add some more servers? Gofundme?

Some people have traced a bug in Netcode that takes extremely long routes when matchmaking:(POST #7)

“I’ve traced my connections and to hit the East coast (New York) or even Chicago, it first sends me to the Iowa server, then a Washington server in the utmost top NW corner of the US, then back to the East coast. This is a consistent way they route me to my local servers. Chicago is close by and should stay in the mid 20s however spikes like crazy and is choppy as heck.”

Josh Menke, ZaedynFel Please address this issue, it’s been going on for quite a while now and is ruining gameplay.
