This is always a popular playlist & it deserves to have a ranked playlist for those who care about competition and winning vs a social one for people to play w/their friends using 1 Live acct. 4 kids sharing a 32’’ bedroom tv ( or smaller) don’t need to be in a playlist where we like combat/enemies on a massive scale but also want to have it ranked so teams are fair. Don’t ruin this, like previous BTB playlists have been. An objective and slayer BTB is appropriate too. Ranked objective/social unranked BTB would be good.

I don’t think there will be two separate playlists for BTB. We don’t want to divide the population. With that being said, 343i did make BTB Ranked for a couple of months to see how things would work out. I don’t think it worked out too well, and that is why they have moved it back to Social. BTB has always been more of a Social thing, not a Competitive thing anyway.

Halo 2 had ranked BTB objective and unranked social BTB for years.

Correct. Halo 2 had a massive population as well as H3 which also had a ranked and social BTB. The common denominator? Fun factor.

It should be done off launch, the reason is didnt work is because most of the people in my social circle, dont play anymore because h5 wasnt very good. And Im talking like hundreds of players at top tier btb.
