I was under the impression they don’t make new maps, that they are just going to rip sections of the campaign map to turn into MP maps.
Who knows what they are doing 
That’s what bungie did with citadel in halo 3 and at least it worked.
I do think what Shadow said makes sense, it’s like the teams that work on multiplayer don’t communicate well to the other teams and everything seems disorganized. The roadmap for this game has spiraled out of control and I can’t keep playing this game it feels like groundhog day.

I feel like the bar is set so low now for Infinite. Maybe there will be some “suprises” in season 2 but I don’t want to get my hopes up. I think some of the events throughout the season are nice, etc but we need more game modes, new maps, forge, campaign co op.
We also need a social ranking and progression system. The structure of challenges and weekly rewards also needs to change. It’s like 343 took a fish out of the water and is just letting it flounder and flop around. That’s what is happening today, the playerbase is dwindling and by the time 343 reacts the damage has already been done.

I agree to all of these points, infinite should have every game mode from every halo game before. A new halo game should surprise us with new game modes on top of having everything from before. Halo reach had headhunter and it was amazing, but I’m not sure why games like assault were ever done away with.
What you said might have something to do with it, but I think it’s A lot more then just unfinished maps.
We want a road map, yet we haven’t even gotten any info about it that I know of. The thing is, I believe they have one already it’s just they want to play things out how they want to, not how we would hope or like to see things played out.
I personally believe they have more maps created, and just they plan on drip-feeding them as they did with Halo 5 but slower. It doesn’t make any real sense to us, but being a business looking to make money off the shop it makes plenty of sense to them.

There’s no doubt that 343 is slow walking this game. They are just trying to milk the game for money. They expect people to play infinite because they like halo. People aren’t going to stick around if the game isn’t getting new content for months at a time.
I won’t even play infinite because how poorly the game has been designed and how poorly it’s being handled.
Maybe a few months from now somethings will be a little better, but I’m not expecting much at all from 343. They have shown they really don’t know what they are doing. What gets me though is that it feels like Staten is being forced to back this nonsens up, and knowing his history with the original Halo’s? There is no way he could be honestly thinking this is a great Halo game.
