No one said anything about unfinished maps. This game has been out for months now and at this point they might as well have delayed the release of the game if it takes them that long to produce a few maps. I can make them in forge faster. People that don’t get paid to create maps can make them better and faster…it’s sad.

2 maps is better than nothing but anyone who says or does not realize that 343 is slow walking this game is on another planet. They are milking the game for money and are slow dripping new content out. I’m not saying that can’t change and I hope it does but there’s no sense of urgency on their end.
They constantly over promise and under deliver. They release a game with bare bones game modes and expect people not to complain. What 343 says and their actions don’t line up. Then they expect people to be patient on a game they had 6 years to get together. I honestly don’t think they have a plan or a roadmap and are making things up as they go. If there was a long term plan we would have heard something by now.

Yeah, not gonna lie, only getting 2 maps feels a but underwhelming, but as they say, game development takes a lot of time, and that include making maps. So I’m kinda glad we’re getting 2 whole maps within one season.

If they bring in couple of maps each season, then it would make sense, I’d much rather have couple of maps each season than a drop of 5 or 6 in 1 go

Playing the same 5 maps over and over and over on ranking is so boring, really makes the game dull. ADD MORE MAPS FOR THE LOVE OF GOD

Thank you, someone who gets it! I can’t stand the same thing over and over and I’m a big time halo fan who has thousands and thousands of hours in the older games….i’ve stopped playing infinite which is sad because I didn’t want it to come to this. They have to think of something and something quick!
Yeah, it takes 6 years just to make a couple of maps.

So far we only know of two maps in screen-shots. More might be revealed later on as we approach S2

They absolutely expect complaints. They just don’t care, because they know the playerbase will just keep spending money on whatever new cosmetics they trickle out.
Anyone in 343 who actually cares about the game as a game rather than a cash cow doesn’t get to make the decisions that impact this. Nothing will change until people stop spending money, which is the only feedback the higherups at moneysoft will respond to.

I agree only two new maps is lame, she should have at least given is 4. Two arena and two BTB.

Im pretty sure 343 explicitly said there would only be 2 maps. If were really lucky maybe they will port an old map like lockout halfway through the season but there is 95% chance of that not happening and about a 50% chance the 2 maps we do get are delayed

Drip drip drip from 343. Meanwhile the playerbase continues to fall. Hopefully the money also dries up and they’ll wise up.
I don’t enjoy routing for a game to fail but the amount of slow walking they are doing here is damaging the brand.

Well, wanting more then two maps added, when there are only two maps completed leads me to believe that he wants maps in that aren’t even completed yet wouldn’t you think? I highly doubt they have more maps completed, that they’re not going to release till later.
That would just be silly, lol.
Some of us are only getting 1… I’m honestly not a big fan of big team battle in this game, so my friends and i just played ranked, slayer and fiesta. so after 6 months of waiting we get 1 new map… i’ll see you guys in season 4 when this game is actually close to being finished lol
