Add maps from campaign

Campaign had great map settings and backgrounds, such as Argent Moon, Genesis, Sunaion City, and Sangheilios Temple. 343, do not waste these potentials and stop adding remixes, they make the map rotation worse.

People gave bungie so much crap for that with Halo reach. I don’t think this is a good idea.

Besides doesn’t this make 343 really lazy?

i liked that they did that. considering bungie had awesome halo missions. 343s maps suck so i wouldnt mind them using campaign maps the only 3 maps in multiplayer i like so far are the remale of sandtrap and two warzone maps which are raid on apex 7 and skirmish at darkstar

It’s one thing to make maps inspired from campaign levels, but Bungie just ripped maps straight from the campaign, added barriers, and said “BAM! Multiplayer map!”

I can see why. Not all the maps were exactly optimized for multiplayer… or at least team based gametypes.

They might be able to recycle parts for warzone or even Firefight

The best thing is that the only non-campaign maps were the DLC ones. And six of those maps were remakes of CE maps (and Headlong).

I agree with the OP, I usually dig maps sourced from campaign; but I typically do not like remakes.

Which is why I laugh whenever I hear Bungie say Reach was their “Swan Song”. Stop lying to us, Bungie.

When you were making Halo Reach, you wanted to get it done and over with to escape MS’s grip and work on Destiny. It’s why Halo Reach is my least favorite Halo, it felt like it had the LEAST amount of love and effort put into it.

It is going to be better than remixes.

I’m afraid that you’re misinformed, since it was done exactly the opposite of what you’re saying. They made the maps for multiplayer, then chose to inject them into the campaign. This was stated multiple times prior to release.

Maybe ones based on or tied to campaign maps, but tearing them right out of the campaign might not be the best idea really.
Wouldn’t mind fighting on some new sections of Genesis, or Argent Moon.

Halo 5 is the only Halo game with Sanghelios in it.

…And there’s not a single Sanghelios-themed map.

if only there was a warzone map like genesis or sanghelios

Sangheilios based maps would be perfect for Warzone.

They can set the background from campaign locations and building new maps.
