Look, I’ve rolled with the punches every time 343 has had to make a compromise when it comes to Halo. I was really frustrated with the Forge and Coop delays, but it is what it is. I just can’t agree with this deliberate decision. How are you going to remove the announcer from one of the most played gamemodes in the franchise (or at all)? Jeff has been there since the very beginning with CE, him calling out your badassery that gets your blood pumping to keep your kill streak going. Mind you the kill streak that has the highest chance of happening in BTB gamemodes. If it’s because there’s a lot of audio clutter, than instead of removing the arena announcer that everybody loves, don’t add more unnecessary multiplayer dialogue.
I really don’t want to seem like a jerk but no one cared or wanted Agryna, especially not at the expense of Jeff Steitzer. Like… he’s the guy, what more is there to say? I already landed two overkills in BTB during the flight (and the game is great by the way) and instead of hearing DOULBE-TRIPLE-OV- all I get is “im gonna send their mother a post card xd” from my AI. Really? Am I crazy for thinking this?
I think it’s just a bug with this version of the flight, as I can’t hear the announcer in Training Mode either. He might have a slightly lesser presence in Big Team Battle due to the new commander, but I doubt he would be completely removed, especially if no one else is announcing medals.

I thought it was a bug too until Ske7ch and Uny basically confirmed that he’s not in it.

I’m here both for Agryna and Jeff. It’s great we’re getting new voices in the Halo franchise.
What I don’t get is why he has to voice the same lines he voiced years ago! Is the pitch he delivered them not good enough, does it always have to sound fresh, new, different, but similar?
It’s fine when he has new lines to say, but every game his voice is fiddled with and likewise the sound of the weapons and vehicles, which takes time and resources. Just seems like wasted effort to reinvent the wheel again shrug
I 100% agree with the original post. I made a thread elsewhere, I’m so disappointed Jeff isn’t announcing in BTB. At the very least, give people announcement settings. Who we want to hear and how often.
