I fully understand that invasion was cut from matchmaking. Its regrettable but obviously change is necessary. The maps are now designed for dominion or CTF rather than invasion.
We do, however, have the ability to MAKE OUR OWN MAPS.
So why not let us have an <mark>invasion gametype in custom games?</mark> You could even add all sorts of dominion and/or extraction stuff to the objective phase!
