I have good and bad news for you. I asked the same question in another thread. 343 actually responded! Double Team is coming back! But… it will be what they call a “happy hopper”. The playlist will be rotational, coming for a while, then replaced by another playlist, then brought back. Pretty silly right?
And I’m sure you’ve heard about the bizarre ranking system they’re implementing. Well since 2v2 will be rotational I don’t it will even get the downgraded ranking system other playlists will get.
I have been trying to cause a ruckus about the NO FLAG DROP decision. I get NO feedback from them on it. The future of this game is uncertain…
Not having a static double team playlist is like having a toilet with no lid on it. It’s still functional, but it could be better.
Agreed. Plus a lidless toilet has such an obvious easy to fix problem. So when you see a homeowner with a lidless toilet you think: this person is either really lazy, or they just don’t care what anyone thinks…
And to make this even worse is that 343 built this toilet for all of us, the community. Where the heck is our lid! We didn’t think we had to specify before it was made that we wanted one! Isn’t it common sense!
Give us our lid 343.
This will be a huge deal. Doubles have alway’s remained a top 3 playlist in every halo. Why divide the community on so many playlists. Just combine all the objective playlist in too team objective, if that’s what it takes to add another full time doubles playlist. The only thing more popular then doubles is team slayer and mlg/hardcore on all the other games.
They have 4 small maps, not going to happen.

Yeah, Consolidate the Objective playlists. Add Doubles and a Classic FFA slayer.
Please Dont make it rotational.
Please give us the 1-50 ranking system the community has been crying for since Halo Reach.
Give us the real 1-50 rankings and Static Team Doubles and I might be able to forget about the other problems for awhile.
