Whilst I admit we don’t actually know if these just weren’t in the tech preview - I’d like to make it known that I would like to see them return.
Getting stuck on your teammate us part of the SKEEL GAP.
Not being able to spam grenades or power weapons on enemies cause of no friendly fire is also part of the… sayitwithme SKEEL GAP
Fairly confident they will be, but doesn’t hurt to show support for these things.

I don’t know why but I read the skeel gap like Doug marcaida from forged in fire in my head
it wheel skeel
ahahahaha
I seriously hope it’s part of the final release. It felt so odd not seeing teammates get killed by mistakenly thrown grenades.
I mean, I want it back too, but why are you being weird about it?
Collision for sure and I’ve been thinking a lot about friendly fire. Seemed logical to turn it off for this flight but would it be so bad to keep it off for social?
For ranked I can’t imagine it without FF but how important are skeel aspects like that in social.
Would you rather be able to play laid back and know you can’t hurt your mates or be team naded and betrayed for snipe? H5 had FF off for the fiesta playlist (because of its heavy weapon nature ofc) but also for warzone and there it gave you some comfort and I really didn’t miss do to the scale.
Don’t get me wrong; the first thing I noticed in the flight that sticking a teammate did no damage and that didn’t feel good but I’m open for both versions as long as at least it’s active for ranked.
My thoughts are are the mechanics that seem disconnected to the sandbox. Player collisions should be in the game, Friendly fire should be on, you should be able to grenade jump. Having a explosion not affect you in any way besides taken damage feels like its not connected to the sandbox. The gravity hammer needs more gravity, more push back. The best thing about halo to me was the physics. Having things dissappear/fade out seems like its not part of the game. Too many things that are taken out that should have affects isnt a good thing IMO.
I have a feeling friendly fire just wasn’t turned on for this flighting. In the post game report you could see a stat for number of team mates betrayed.

BOI TRUST ME ITS COMING
I do agree but i also think it would be good to not have friendly fire as you always get some absolute tool who either throws a wobbler cause you picked up something he wanted and then starts shooting you or grenades you or someone whos just bored and starts ruining the game by messing around and attacking there own team mates its so annoying!
So my “teammate” can kill me, steal my power weapon and be bad a using it!? No thanks.
I agree with others here, I think the final game will have this and it was just disabled in the flight so people couldnt betray for power weapons. However its good to voice these things just to be sure.
I forget about collisions but I’m pretty sure team killing was disabled during H5’s beta as well, hopefully it’ll be there in the final release.

Very constructive.
Can you still use your teammates as moving threat sensors still though, if they did?

Someone found it funny, there’s your reason.

Yes it would be bad, it makes the game fundamentally easier. Braindead, not relaxed.
Getting team naded happens, it’s part of Halo’s fundamental skill gap. Its unfortunate that it happens but it stops something worse; Grenade spam.

I defer you to my above answer.
