Add character presets like DOOM's Praetor Suit.

> Don’t just read the title. I’m NOT asking for the DOOM Marine armor in Halo 5; let me explain…

Does anyone else wish you could play as the characters from Campaign… in multiplayer?

Take Buck and Locke for example. In the Campaign, their armor looks awesome, but the multiplayer versions… they’re just nowhere near as good with the vanilla colored techsuits and multiplayer skins. I want to be able to use the Campaign version in multiplayer.

So I had an idea; in DOOM, you’re allowed to use the DOOM Marine’s armor from the Campaign (called the “Praetor Suit”) in multiplayer by hitting the max rank. It’s not customizable, nor is it part of the regular part of the armor customization system in that game. Once you hit that max rank, you just hit the check box next to “Use Praetor Suit” in the menu, and it overrides your normal armor.

It would be cool if Halo 5 had something like this. Like a “Choose Character” option in the armor customization screen; then I could select “Use Buck”, or “Use Locke”, or “Use Master Chief” just like you do with the Praetor Suit in DOOM. There would be 8 total characters; Master Chief, Fred, Kelly, Linda, Locke, Buck, Vale, and Tanaka. These would be unlocked as you rank up, with Master Chief being unlocked at SR-152.

The armor customization in this game sucks; I’d rather just be able to pick a character from the Campaign at this point.

I’d rather have preset armor combinations, but this would be cool too.

So we could use the armors from characters in the campaign? Yes please

Sounds good.

I want a customization like Halo 4

So do I. But I would consider this the next best thing.

This would be perfect, considering that Master Chief has never had his redesigned armor in matchmaking. It’s always been the Halo 4 and 5 version of Mark 6. Also, the characters in campaign make the armor look amazing compared to their multiplayer counterparts.

The Doom Praetor armor is actually one of the coolest armor sets I’ve seen in a game.

Yea it would be cool, but 343i wouldn’t do that becuase it wouldn’t be unique for the characters. For example, back in Halo 3, Bungie were gona add Arbiter’s armor into the multiplayer for the elites but didn’t end up doing it because that armor is what makes Arbiter stand out. Thou it is cool and i wish i was rocking Chief’s newly improved Mark VI, it would take away from the uniqueness of that armor.
