I think it would be cool. It would also be great for zombie games so no actual players start as zombies… and other stuff.
Wouldn’t work on Forged maps.
Unless there was a waypoint system. But that would be clumsy and messy.
However, AI might work if they do good with netcode. Beacuse AI can be set to guard/patrol a certain point.
Bots? They didn’t make Fire Fight for any other reason, with masses of AI that somebody who doesn’t have Live or Friends can slaughter!
Multiplayer is Human
Fire Fight is for AI
Beside Bots are fun for like two minutes then its just boring and predicable.
So “NO” to bots from me, they create lag and hamper social gaming.
I have no idea how they would do it and/or if this is an impossible request. I actually gave up programming and went back to animation because of how complicated it was. so I wouldn’t be surprised if it couldn’t be done for reach at the moment.

Gears of War 3 has bot matches. It isn’t hurting the game at all. In fact, it helps gamers to learn the modes. You could argue the human multiplayer is filled with more knowledgeable players, who have learned what they’re doing, after playing custom bot matches at their own pace. Nowhere are players forced to play with bots, so if they’re predictable to you, just avoid using them.
