You know the skull that gives you unlimited reserve ammo in Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary and Halo 2: Anniversary? I love that skull; especially in Halo 2, as it allows you to pretty use whatever weapons you want for as long as you want, and saves you the trouble of having to hunt for ammo for average weapons like the Battle Rifle, SMG, and such.
I’d like to see it implemented in the Campaign for Halo 5: Guardians… as a reward for beating the Campaign on Legendary difficulty.
Currently, there is no incentive for me to play Halo 5’s Campaign on anything higher than Heroic. In Halo 3, beating the Legendary Campaign got you EOD armor. In Halo 3: ODST, you unlocked Dare as a playable character in Firefight. In Halo: Reach, you got your hands on the CQB helmet if you were on Halo Waypoint. In Halo 4, you the Mark VI armor, Legendary visor, and 117 emblem. In Halo: MCC, you got the Helioskrill armor for Halo 5.
In Halo 5: Guardians, you don’t get anything, save for an achievement.
The Bandana Skull would be a nice reward for beating the Campaign on Legendary, IMO. Maybe toss in a set of armor as well; what about the Mark V Anniversary armor from Halo 4’s Champions DLC? The one based on Halo: CE Anniversary? It’d be a fitting reward if combined with the Bandana skull and Legendary visor.
Bandana was the bomb, it would be a pretty great incentive to play, but people don’t replay the campaign in Halo 5 as much as older Halos, and would render the skull basically useless.

What if they tossed in the Mark V Anniversary armor and Legendary visor along with the Bandana skull? Replay value on the Campaign is minimal as it is; the armor and visor would give you a better reason to tackle in on Legendary if you could get something to use in Warzone and Arena, while the Bandana skull would be nice thing to have for just hopping back into the campaign to fool around for a bit…

I’ve felt the same way. I’ve loved the Bandana Skull ever since they first introduced it. Some people make the argument that it cheapens the experience and makes it too easy, but making it a reward for beating Legendary would take care of that. I say make it so you have to beat Legendary solo, then you get the skull.

I could live with that. I can solo Legendary campaign, but I’d like more reward for my efforts that just Gamerscore. That’s where the Bandana skull, Mark V Anniversary armor, and Legendary visor could come in.

You would only be able to have those guns with infinite ammo after beating the campaign on Legendary, and it’s completely optional as to whether or not you want to use the Bandana skull.
Nornfang doesn’t feel any different from the regular sniper rifle in the campaign for some reason.

I agree, unlimited ammo with those weapons would be no different to 'nade spam in CE:A. As long as you had to earn it, I think Bandana would be a great addition.

While I do agree and would like to see that. I disagree with no reason to beat the game on solo legendary as you get an achievement and gamer score and the satisfaction of doing it.

Achievements and Gamerscore aren’t worth that much to me in Halo 5. I’d rather have tangible rewards, be it a set of armor, or the Bandana skull. Every Halo game between Halo 3 and Halo: MCC had some kind of in-game reward for beating the campaign on Legendary; this is the first one that doesn’t.

> yes, i wanna this skull too, or if i complete 100% achievement give me this skull? single legendary is too easy.
Legendary is enough of a challenge by itself. Past Halo games, from Halo 3 to Halo: MCC, have given players special rewards for beating the Campaign on Legendary; Halo 5’s Campaign doesn’t give you anything besides an achievement and some gamerscore.
Well, I’d honestly like to see all the fun skulls we saw in H2A. I mean, we finally got to see skulls living up to their potential in H2A. And then Halo 5 had none of that.
