Hello! Here’s another non-first priority feedback I would like to leave here.
I have had this in mind for months, actually.
I remember reading an interview where Jeff Steitzer, the English Announcer, was initially meant to be Master Chief, but ultimately decided to change for the current VA, Steve Downes. At first, Jeff was saddened by the news but reassured that the community would have loved his voice as The Announcer.
I think with Halo Infinite 343 can finally expand his role in multiplayer by building an Announcer AI.
Mind you, this isn’t the sole purpose of adding an Announcer AI. I think the Announcer can start expressing even more thanks to these personal voice lines. Plus, it would remove a layer of voices during the game.
In games like BTB you can hear up to 4 voices, not including the Spartans. Sometimes I wish to turn everything off and play mute like in the classic games, but in reality I just wish to have less voices in my head while playing. Maybe one is enough. The Announcer would be a perfect opportunity to be an AI.
By extention, since we are talking about the iconic Narrator, it should be a “common” AI that can be unlocked for free through playing and not by buying it. But I understand I may ask too much…
