Add a playlist for mic users

I’ve seen people talking about how no one uses mics anymore, and when they put it into perspective it’s fairly disheartening. People rarely use mics anymore because of people either being obnoxious or rude, and many would rather just stay within a party talking to people they already know. I’ve heard that in Halo 2 and 3 when everyone had mics and games were social, but I wasn’t playing Halo at the time and couldn’t experience it for myself. I’d like to.

I propose that Halo 5 have a social playlist, designed to re-create the social atmosphere Halo used to have by having a few rules and restrictions. It would require players to use mics, and they cannot enter if they’re in a party. Furthermore, the playlist would have proximity chat so that players on opposing teams can still talk to each other as if they were in the same room. Lastly, players would be able to report others for being obnoxious or rude and anyone who is reported enough would be banned from the playlist, temporarily or permanently, to filter out anyone who would try to defeat the playlist’s intended purpose. I believe that if we had a playlist like this, it would make Halo more fun and easier to find friends and form new clans.

So, what do you all think? Would you like to see something like this in Halo 5?

lol this is just like search and destroy back in MW2 where it kicked you out of your party. But the reason for that was so people couldn’t make call outs to their teammates while dead. I do not think this idea could be enforceable and on top of it, I have huge doubts a playlist like this would even have a large population.

People can just lower the volume in their mic, this is what I do with my Xbox One Stereo Headset… Have the gameplay Up, but the Mic volume down so I don’t hear anyone that’s annoying… & mute my mic

Bu would be nice to not be in a party, at least for Arena

Or have a setting that you can turn on so you can find only mic users. Not saying this is a good idea though, would split population poorly

Personally no. Seems like a waste of a playlist. If you really want to play with social people just round up a bunch of friends on here so you always have someone to play with.
