I’m tired of my Spartan running around in colored undies. Give us the option to change the color of the GEN2 bodysuit- that way we can set it to “Pepper” if we want it to be all-black- without having to dress our Spartans in all-black armor.
It should be a tertiary color feature, like in Halo 3 when the tertiary color was the bicep and thigh stripes. It would serve as that. Being one color makes it hard to see the armor details sadly.

And as many people like to state… makes us seem like Power Rangers and not supersoldiers.
Not like the Spartan-IVs really seem like “supersoldiers” of the UNSC…
In addition the ability to color the white skins of the armor variants would be appreciated.

Very true.

> The supersoldier is a concept soldier, often fictional, capable of operating beyond normal human limits or abilities.
If that doesn’t sound like a Spartan-IV then I don’t know what does. You don’t like them, that’s fine. But at least acknowledge what that are… they are supersoldiers.

I think he’s simply stating in regards to how a lot of the design looks underneath and some of the goofy designs of armor that have been added, makes the Spartan IV’s look less like a super soldier and more like a Power Ranger, plus Spartan IV’s perform no where near as good as the Spartan II’s, even if they’re still a super soldier, haha

I was rhinking he was the typical Spartan-IV hater that says they aren’t real Spartans. So I felt the need to inform him with the truth.

I mean, I dislike the Spartan IV’s mostly due to how a lot of them are very disrespectful in comparison to their predecessors, as we have saw, but regardless of that a Spartan is a Spartan. I’d quote Halsey at how “some of them are closer than others”

A lot? We’ve only seen a handful out of hundreds. That goes for Halsey as well, she’s only seen a handful of the IVs. I’m more than sure she acted the same way towards the IIIs in Ghosts of Onyx as well before she really got to know them.

It’s an understandable change in mindset, though. Most of the IV’s were brought in from ODSTs and Marines who wanted to sign up.
Expecting them to behave with like John, Kelly, Fred, Jorge, etc. behaved wouldn’t have made sense, there.
Back to the OP, though. I’d like a toggleable bodysuit option as well. (perhaps making it tertiary/detail?) Or just a black undersuit toggle. Either would work with me.
I dont want it to be any color, like pink or neon green, maybe just default and black.
It should have a tertiary option so it can be black. It would serve as the alternative to the stripes on the thigh and bicep like in Halo 3, but instead giving the black undersuit or whatever color people want.

That’s basically what I’m suggesting; tertiary color. I don’t know why they haven’t done this already, seeing as they expanded the color options in the last update…
The problem is that the Undersuit is affected differently by primary and secondary colors. Oh and I looked at the ‘pepper’ color, it’s actually just a bit brighter than the black base portions of the undersuit.
If I had the reins, I’d make the white lines on armor ‘tertiary’ colors and make the undersuits have a ‘solid black’ toggle option (basically two toggles, one to make the ‘primary’ color portion of the undersuit black (slightly darker than pepper) independent of primary color, and a second toggle for the same effect on the ‘secondary’ colored portions of undersuit.
