The H2 pistol was too weak for its own good, and the H3 pistol was simply a piece of s***.

I would rather go to war with a large inflatable phallic shaped object than the H3 pistol.
I’d rather use any of the current magnums as melee weapons only than have to go back to the Halo 3 pistol. At least the H2 pistol could be rapid fire.
I do love the Magnums in Halo 5 and also wish there were more but I think all bases are covered with the ones already in. Even just the extended mag default one can be very lethal for just a level 2 req.
The Gunfighter Magnum is practically Halo 2’s M6C, just more capable of killing things (likely due to the lack of dual-wielding). The Halo 3 Magnum, based off of my campaign experience, is just as much a peashooter as Halo 3’s Assault Rifle, and using it in Halo 5 would get you killed in every gunfight ever.

The H3 Magnum fires too damn slow (even when dual-wielded), has a pitiful magazine capacity, and it’s simply painful to look at.

Why bring back the two worst pistols in halo history?
Instead of giving us more pistols from other games they should give us more variant pistols (like gunfighter)
