In every thread that points out issues with Halo 4, I read the same response from at least one person. “Adapt”. That this is a new Halo game and any complaints are invalid because people should adapt.
So explain to me why I should have to adapt to the following things:
Starting games 5V1 because the game had enough to start, but not fair teams.
Joining a game down 450-200 with no chance to comeback.
Starting a game 3v3, but having a 4th person join the opposing team, yet never getting a 4th on my team.
All of these things occur on a regular basis and they should NEVER happen. They are recipes for an almost for sure loss. In a game that is supposed to be about competition and winning, these are glaring errors in the system, yet I am supposed to adapt to them?
Explain why I should adapt to a system that at times virtually assures me a loss.
Sadly I think it’s fairly clear this game is no longer about winning but about having there version of fun and then no body will be upset because they lose right ?
Oh my god
Some people get so upset about losing
It’s just a game. Yeah that stuff gets frustrating, but are you going to rage quit just because you know you’re gonna lose?

Why do you even play then? Just to run around for no reason? Halo has ALWAYS been a competitive game. Maybe you don’t care about winning, but a lot of people do.
Also, how much fun is it playing 1V5? Even if you don’t care about winning, it’s just not fun.
And no I won’t rage quit, I’ll fight back everytime, but it’s almost always a losing battle.

All but the first reason are just your bad luck. Join-in-progress speeds up traffic in matchmaking.
> Yeah that stuff gets frustrating, but are you going to rage quit just because you know you’re gonna lose?
Yes, I am, because I play this game to compete and to win. Why do I, and the countless people like me, need to be excluded because of completely broken game mechanics? I seriously LOATHE playing this game sometimes.

For starters it shouldn’t happen at all. But if it is just bad luck, I have the worst luck around, because it happens to me probably 30% of my games.

Exactly. You won’t rage quit. You’ll play the damn game because win or lose, it’s fun. I always see it as a challenge. Like playing Campaign on LASO. Nobody ever whines about LASO. Why is this any different?

No, like I said, it ISN’T fun. Even being up 5V1 isn’t fun. It’s happened in CTF and Ball, we shut them out both times and it was not fun.
Hate it as much as you want, but I enjoy competition. That’s fun for me. When the game isn’t competitive, I don’t have much fun.

Dont have fun? Quit the game and do something with your life.
Play with a party and it won’t happen ever. Join-In Progress is good for Halo. It speeds up Matchmaking (as was said) and helps teams when somebody quits. Sometimes the teams don’t even out. Boo hoo. Make the best of it.
What was wrong with the old Halos where you had to wait for eight players to be found and then start the game? It never took longer then 30seconds to find a group of eight. 343 just wants HALO to be more like COD.
Obviously when they implement ranked playlists they are going to have to get rid of the joining sessions in progress thing. I bet they won’t though.
And for the people saying that it is just a game, NO -Yoink-. People who don’t try to win in everything they do are losers, flat out.

But this isn’t true, I have been with a party and it gets split up and put into games in progress. Which is even worse.

How is it broken? Because you always join a game that is already in progress?
