Actually, I think halo's microtransactions aren't as bad as they try to make it out to be

Or just add daily challenges that award 1 spartan point upon completion and give us like 10 challenges a day.

Hot take: I’d be ok with mtx if they commit some of that revenue stream to continued content development

Not actually being able to play the MP because it’s a total ghost town is very bad. 343 drove off the entire playerbase. No one plays any Halo anymore. And you’re defending MTX in a dead game.

This is sarcasm, right? If it isn’t, then WTF man?

If this is the way it could be implemented (no change the existing system) then it would be the most ideal way (that we’ve seen so far) to incorporate them into the mix.

It should be an alternate avenue to the existing structure rather than a paywall to a new locked section.

Either way, purchasing Spartan Points while the original acquisition methods stay in place unchanged will not affect the way people play the game in the slightest.

That ship has sailed my guy.

Players have been rationalizing it since minor tweak sequels became a thing, since expansion packs became a thing, since subscriptions became a thing, since DLC (and DLC lockouts) became a thing. MTX is just the next step that all previous monetization schemes set the precedent for.

Every step of the way leading to the current MTX scheme, gamers used their wallets and said: YES

Only now are gamers saying “no”
