Actual Skill in competitive games

I feel halo infinte is trying to be too many things rn a couch game but also a competitive shooter and it’s constantly finding ways to lower the skill ceiling needed in halo infinite. The game on a controller is much easier to play due to the various things to ensure players are having fun while on mnk life is still a struggle, I have played both but I have been using mnk since release and have tested playing on a controller and the difference is still evident even with aim assist on mnk it still doesn’t feel as if I’m playing on even grounds as everyone else on controller. Aim assist on MK is a weird route to take to even the grounds and instead of getting better or coming up with a solution that is more skill-based for everyone they just gave Mnk aim assist and it may not be the same strength as a controller it still takes away the human error that is possible. This is why reticle friction would be better for both inputs really because instead of it aiming for you along with magnetism and other things ensuring you hit the shot, reticle friction makes aiming more skill reliant meaning you control the reticle yourself the entire time completely without slight help from the aim assist. because the more help and assistance and magnetism you add lowers the amount of input the player has and the skill ceiling is not gonna exist. The game already struggles on the competitive side in comparison to other games due to the game just not being fun to play competitively unless you are on a controller and no one who has always been on PC playing mnk is gonna switch on top of the state of the game. I just want something to get better instead of a quick band-aid fix some people won’t talk about it.
