So me and a couple friends are playing BTB. We notice the enemy team is a party full of camo campers.
The whole entire game they’d shoot the DMR. Get ordnance rinse and repeat. The whole concept of map control becomes null.
Camping is worse than ever. Instead of being boltshotted you get cross mapped. I understand you should not run in the open.
But no map movement makes for repetitive gameplay.

Well, it sounds like they got shooting down good… did they win?
No.
People play the way they want to, Its not up to anyone else to decide on how someone else should play the game.
So its okay to get free power weapons when all you did was sit back and cross map.
Where’s the teamwork in that?
People may play the game they want but putting camo in as a spawnable ability is a silly move.
Its way too advantageous to use almost at will. In older games, only one person could be in Camo for 30 seconds every two minutes.
Now you can run into whole teams using it. One person I’m fine with. One person with camo/sniper I’m fine with. But since they can all stand back and not have to move anymore to get said sniper and or just as powerful weapon, its more annoying than ever.
I feel you. That should not be happening…it’s annoying as hell and people that win that way still feel that they were the better marksman. No please. There is no honor to it.
Anyone else think Battlefield 3 campaign when they read the title?

Well, they clearly all knew to use camo.
And people shouldn’t be forced to use teamwork. I personally prefer to work by myself, even in team games.

Theres always wall hack to locate your foe… Personally I dont use it. What works is you use AC and zoom in with the DMR after three seconds theres a red triangle above the head of the guy you’re looking for.
AC has its limitations.
Generally each map has ‘those spots’ where the AC camper will go and those locations would be the first place to look.

I have come across a full party doing it before, i messaged them and they said they were a ‘Pro Clan’. Hahaha.
Sportsmanship is dead.
I would laugh to see both teams as parties of Cammo Campers, and watch nothing happen in the game.

This I have actually seen on Solace.
Nothing much happened, each team was just camping at their end of the map.
It was advantagous to have resupply to 'nade the f*** out of a room before you went in.
I think no team scored higher than 400 and most of the kills had somethiing to do with me either killing or dying.

with jetpacks on rocks you can’t get to without a jetpack?
I have no problem with Camo as a powerup. It worked great in H1-3. What we have now is one of the most flawed design concepts you could ever see in a game that parades itself as an arena style shooter.
I remember when camo used to spawn on the map and only one person could get it. but that was in a good game.
