Over the past week or so i have noticed that some players in mp matches utilizing the Armor Ability: Active Camouflage also are completely invisible on the radar as well.
Let me Clarify: Typically when the ability is activated the player becomes almost completely translucent. Simultaneously the player’s radar, as well as his enemies, should contain ‘ghosts’ or fake readings of multiple objects in a random pattern within a small diameter of the player using the Ability.
The Issue?: The player with Active Camouflage does not show himself (in red) or the ‘ghosts’ (whitish). This seems to be a consistent occurrence with a player per match. I.E. The same player retains the perk throughout the match. This does not happen to all the players using the ability and I am hoping that this is a perk of a specialization or something and not a glitch
I could provide multiple picture and video examples if required.
i crouch walk a lot when using AC, the player using AC when crouch walking or slowing down in pace will have his radar signal fade from red to blue, to nothing. i noticed that accidently breaking motion my radar ping flicks from red to blue, and then blue then nothiing.
what your saying is, they literally have no radar signature?
I can only speak for campaign, but when an elite is using this he does not appear on radar as Red, but rather Blue. There is no Radar jamming either from this AA.
They create a bunch of blue dots on your radar when using AC. If the crouch walk or do not move, their dot (which is red no matter their AA) will disappear. Same as anyone else’s dot, no matter what they are using.
If you see a bunch of blue dots but no red, chances are the enemy is right in the middle, and it should be pretty easy to spot them. Camo is MUCH easier to see in this game, even when they are fully cloaked.
