Does Active Camouflage still have the sound deafening nerf that reach had? A link to some Active Camouflage gameplay that has clear sound that shows this would be appreciated. I really hope it doesn’t come back.
That was annoying, but made it more balanced. In the gameplay I’ve seen it in it was too noisy around to hear if you went deaf or not.

This is why it needs to be removed. You can’t go into the front line of combat without feeling like they will find you first. The only reason why people used cloak in reach was to camp or snipe. This deaf effect doesn’t affect snipers because they are in the back where they won’t hear anything anyway. The radar jamer stopped people from charging into the campers’ hiding spot without grenades, explosives, or another counter measure. This nerf always stuck out like a sore thumb.
I Couldn’t tell really it was too loud on exile i was hoping for some ac gameplay that showed how effective it can be besides camping/ sniping there is one more good reason to use it that would take time to perfect and that would be getting assassination kills
I’m not sure if it’s in Halo 4 or not as I haven’t seen any footage where it’s used extensively, but I always thought it was odd how in Reach you could sometimes hear the usage of other armor abilities perfectly even though everything else was muffled. The most noticeable one being the panting from sprinting and the little beeping sound it makes before and after activation.

I’m getting a little off topic here but it would help Active Camouflage users if the Stealth ability muffled your sprint huffing and puffing and not just your foot steps.
Remove the jammer and the deaf effect but make it like a slight noise sort of like a buzzing that players can hear when near but it has to be slight. There i fixed it…
