Now, I know I made a thread about this before, but I really wanted to share this with you guys because I really thought this idea could work.
Photoreactive Panels
I think this would work both in canon and in Gameplay.
(NOTE: this isn’t nearly as strong as Av-Cam and is more chameleon plates than anything else.)
Pros:
Doesn’t fade when running (Sprinting dampens it)
Infinite Usage.
(I’m also thinking of taking away the user’s presence on the motion tracker, but I think that would be OP.)
Cons:
Lowers your base health at the beginning of the match by half. (due to the plates being weaker than standard MJOLNIR)
Drops shields as soon as it’s activated.
Cannot fire while activated, (except for melee)
slightly larger sig when viewed in PV (Negated by the Wetworks specialization if equipped)
1-2 second waiting period between deactivation and weapon being pulled up.
I’m also thinking that sufficient damage to your armor may damage the plating and render it useless.
What do you think?
That would be the most underpowered armor ability ever.

Combined with Wetworks I think it’d be quite formidable.
again, this is kind of a player-specific AA, not everyone would be able to use it.
You would be walking around in a normal slayer (everyone would have full shields), and you would crippled like you were playing SWAT…and not even able to shoot!! This is the weakest AA idea ever…

Well If it was the way I think it should be this thread would be screamed off the list, mostly because people would just make up scenarios off the top of their head that ignore 1 or 2 of the downsides.
You posted a bad idea on a forum that has way to many cons, that are not balanced with pros. That’s what I see in you idea of an AA just my honest opinion. To me what you have said was, you would be running around the map one shot all game and unable to shoot, and the plus side is you are slightly camo’d. Is this correct?

It’s technically not “slightly” camo’d, it’s a different type of camo.
You CAN fire, just not while it’s on,
You have shields, just not while it’s on.
The plus side is that you’re Kind of camouflaged, for an infinite amount of time and do not show up on radar while the AA is active.
(It’s kind of funny, I’ve never heard anyone complain that an AA is UNDERpowered, that’s so unusual, but please, if you have some ideas feel free to add them on (or take something away.) I do not mind.)
