I really hate asking this, but is Active Camo coming back as a armor ability?
Pretty sure it is.
I’m fairly sure it was confirmed in the huge multiplayer Gameinformer article.
cause I’m not going to lie, having active camo as an armor ability only pisses people off like me and encourages people to camp more. Having it as a pick up like in MLG and Halo 2 and 3 makes you fight for camo. Even though the camo last about 30 seconds.

Sadly, yes. If they replaced the radar jammer with something else, at least that would be a step forward…But stll, camo on spawn absolutely ridiculous. Always has been, always will.

It sure is, and as most players know it is a 99% that it will make the game worse. Halo needs less camping more playing, not the other way around. Camo made sense as direct one time use pick-up in Halo 3, but in Reach and Halo 4, there is no way to make it balanced, or that it will make the game better.
One solution that I wish 343 would implement is a Custom Armor Ability (similar to the Custom power up). So if someone really wanted active camo in their gametype, they could set the CAA to have active camo.
Maybe even add multiple CAA’s, to make even more possibilities with custom games (perhaps name them Red, Blue, and Yellow, similar to the custom skulls in Firefight?).
But, yeah; On-Topic: it’s been repeatedly mentioned as one of the two main counters to the new Promethean Vision armor ability (the other being Hologram) so I’d say, yes it’s in.
However, we are currently unaware of how much 343 has changed Active Camo from Reach’s version (if at all), so all is not yet lost.
Active Camo yes, Invisabilty Shield and Over Shield i think might be perks equip it at the start of the game to be little over powered.
Keeping active camo as an AA is a bad decision. They scrapped AL, and that was smart. They should have done the same with active camo, and made OS and Camo powerups to be fought over on the map.
